I'm Taimi Venho, an AI adoption consultant based in Edinburgh. My background is in operations and organisational change: a decade working across sectors including retail, wellness, events, third sector, and legal, helping businesses improve how they work, not just what they do. I work with senior leaders, founders, and growing businesses across Edinburgh and Scotland.
I came to AI adoption through that operations lens, and it shapes everything about how I work. The question I'm always starting from isn't "what can AI do?" It's "where is this business losing time, clarity, or opportunities, and can AI be part of the answer?"
Most of my career has been spent inside small organisations during periods of change: implementing new systems, improving processes, making reporting work for the people using it, helping individuals and teams adopt new ways of working. Small organisations have their own texture: decisions are faster, people wear more hats, and change lands differently when there's no buffer between leadership and the rest of the team. That's the environment I understand best.
The consistent thread across all of it isn't any particular sector or tool. It's the work of understanding how an organisation functions on the ground, and then making something better fit into it. That's what I bring to AI adoption. Not a framework to impose, but a way of working that starts with your operations and builds from there.
There's no shortage of "AI solutions" right now. A lot of it is tool-led: here is the stack you should be using, here is the implementation plan. Some of it is strategy-led: here is where AI is heading, here is what it means for your sector.
What's less common is adoption-led: starting with the human and operational reality of a specific business, and building AI into it in a way the team will keep using. That's the gap this practice is designed to fill. It's slower to set up than a tool recommendation. It produces something that lasts.
